Remarks:

  • At post-treatment follow-up most children continued to improve their muscle tone, motor function, limb coordination and speech function. It should be noted that there is a broad range of effectiveness in the treatment of cerebral palsy.
  • Age is a major factor influencing the outcome. The younger the patient, the results are more obvious.
  • Children under 5 years show improvements in intelligence and language abilities. However, older patients do not show satisfactory improvement in these areas.
  • Regarding atonic cerebral palsy, physical activity improves to varying degrees. However, verbal intelligence results are less satisfactory.
  • Rehabilitation exercises improve the effectiveness of the treatment.
