Where is the location of the hospital?

The hospital is located in the Haidian District of Beijing. It is close to the Olympic basketball and baseball centers.

What about my accommodation?

Accommodation is provided in the hospital’s private rooms.

How many days will I need to stay in Beijing?

Usually 7–20 days but this depends on your specific treatment plan.

What is the cost of the program?

The cost of our program depends on your tailored treatment plan and the length of your stay. Our international team will coordinate with you regarding your plans, length of stay, and pricing.

Where can I take my meals?

Patients are provided with Chinese hospital meals during their stay, but if they choose to eat out, a variety of options are available. Near the hospital, there are supermarkets as well as Chinese and Western restaurants (Brazilian BBQ, Italian, KFC, McDonalds). Asian cuisine costs from a minimum of 15 RMB (~ 2 USD), Western cuisine from a minimum of 45 RMB (~6 USD).
International baby food products are also available in a wide selection.

What is the cost of visiting Beijing?

Compared to other major cities in the world, Beijing is less expensive. However, keep in mind that when you visit places catering to westerners, prices can be similar to those in Europe or North America. We recommend you bring 1000–2000 USD for eating, shopping and site seeing.

How do I obtain my visa?

A Chinese visa is issued by the Chinese visa authorities. Please ask for information at the Consulate of the Chinese Embassy in your country. You must apply for a 30-day L visa. We provide you with an official invitation letter for your visa application.

Is English the language of communication?

Yes, English is the language of communication. We also speak Chinese, Japanese, Hindi and Russian. We can arrange interpreters for other languages.

What kind of help will I receive?

Our International Patient Center’s role is to assist you with your daily needs and to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We provide you with information about local eateries, stores, shopping areas, banks, and internet facilities.

Does someone pick me up at the airport?

One of our staff members will pick you up at the airport and bring you to the hospital, which is about a 40-min drive away. After discharge we will return you and your guest to the airport.

How many guests may I bring?

We provide accommodation for the patient and one accompanying person. If more than one person is interested in joining you, they can be accommodated in nearby hotels at their own cost. We can assist to find accommodation for them.

Is there internet access?

A USB wireless internet connection can be arranged.

Is the electrical voltage different in China?

China uses a 220 volt power supply for standard domestic purposes. The official plug in China is similar to a Type A plug. You may need an adapter.

What is there to do in my spare time?

There is an abundance of things to see and do in Beijing. It is a city full of history, culture, culinary cuisine, shopping. The city offers world heritage sites such as the Forbidden City, Great Wall, and Lama Temple.
